Happy Australia Day!
I'd love to hear what you did to celebrate...or not celebrate.
Anything fun? Exciting? Memorable? Thought-provoking? Mundane?
If you're reading this BEFORE you've done anything, you're welcome to share what you PLAN to do.

ReplyDeleteWell, Australia Day isn't really until tomorrow in America, so you have plenty of time to pull together a huge party.
Even in Australia, it hasn't quite happened yet. It's 3 in the morning over there right now.
I always wonder what time it is over there. Now I know ;)
ReplyDeleteuh - I'll get right on that party..
What I should do is come crash YOUR party. I know you've got something fantastic planned.
ReplyDeleteHappyOrganist,
ReplyDeleteI have nothing planned, that's why I was hoping you'd have something fabulous.
I have spent part of the morning playing around with Australia on Google Maps. Does that count? It's kind of like celebrating.
damn, I wish I'd known - I'd have thrown something great together.
ReplyDeleteAs it is, you'll have to have fun watching me make hats from a distance. Though I don't know that that's any more exciting than reading..
=)
HappyOrganist,
ReplyDeletelol. Now I shall probably always associate Australia day with colorful knit hats.
We took my mother out for lunch. No celebrating. People my age grew up with not celebrating Australia Day. It is a new thing. I will leave it to the younguns.
ReplyDeleteAndrew,
ReplyDeleteI hope it was a pleasant lunch.
